Monteleone, with 15 years experience in real estate sales, is chief operating officer and managing partner of the new division. She was with BellSouth for eight years and before that stint was a private real estate consultant specializing in pre-construction and residential investments. Halimeh has been a commercial real estate broker with the nine-year-old Vance Realty Group since 2001.
Vance says all of her firm's existing residential community accounts will be transferred to the Vance Marketing Services which she is treating as a new client of Vance Realty Group. She says the new company was formed "because of the tremendous demand for these specialized real estate services, not only here but throughout the country."
Vance adds, "Although we've been providing these services to real estate developers and builders over the years, we now have a division that will focus its energy and expertise on that one key industry facet and expand our market spectrum."
Vance Realty Group posted $135 million in 2004 sales. Aggregate sales for the first six months of 2005 totaled $136.9 million on 310 transactions equating to an average sale of $441,613. Volume was about 60% residential; 40% commercial. Comparable aggregate sales for the first half of 2004 totaled $58.6 million on 259 transactions for an average sale of $226,255.
