CRANBURY, NJ-NewEgg.com has signed a lease for just under 77,000 sf of distribution space at ProLogis' Cranbury Business Park here. The online computer hardware and software distribution company, based in Whittier, CA, is expanding and moving its East Coast operations from its existing location in South River, NJ.
The transaction was arranged by Scott Belfer, vice president, Mindy Lissner, senior vice president and Lou Belfer, first vice president in the East Brunswick, NJ office of CB Richard Ellis. Terms of the signing were not released.
ProLogis' Cranbury Business Park currently consists of a one-story, 201,600 sf warehouse building near the New Jersey Turnpike and Route 130 here. The building is situated on 200 acres of property with room for expansion.
Besides computer hardware and software, NewEgg.com also sells a variety of consumer electronics and communications products online. Founded just four years ago, the company currently has more than 900 employees worldwide.
