Xcitex's Takes 4,297 SF in Flight-to-Quality Lease

Xcitex, which provides motion capture and analysis products for high-speed and industrial video cameras, spent six years at its old location. The company's move into the three-story First Street building brings a location within walking distance of the Cambridgeside Galleria mall and public transportation. Terms of the lease were not disclosed but the property, 85% occupied by tenants that include Sapient, a business and IT planning company and high-tech giant Oracle, generally rents in the low $20 per-sf range, Hansen says. Owner IBUS Management and Development Inc. was represented by Curtis Cole, Chuck Kavoogian and Eric Smith, all with CB Richard Ellis Whittier Partners' Boston office.
