PHILADELPHIA-Grubb & Ellis has added two VPs to its operations in this area. Patrick McBride is named VP of the industrial group, and Russ Menk takes a parallel post in the office group.

McBride brings 15 years of experience in industrial sales and marketing, including development, portfolio management and brokerage. Most recently, he was VP and market officer for Denver-based ProLogis in Pennsylvania. At Grubb, he will focus on leasing, acquisition and disposition services in the central and northeastern regions of the state, including the Harrisburg area and the Lehigh Valley.

Menk is a 25-year veteran in the local-area office of CB Richard Ellis where he ranked among the company's top five producers in the Philadelphia region. In his new post with Grubb, he will work with office, medical and retail users in eastern Montgomery County, Bucks County and southern New Jersey. Both men will report to Bob Clements, EVP and managing director for Grubb & Ellis offices in eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware.

"Everybody's recruiting," Bob Walters, managing director of the Philadelphia region for CBRE, tells GlobeSt.com regarding Menk's move. "I don't blame anybody; we're doing the same. Russ is an outstanding guy, and I certainly wish him well." ProLogis did not respond by deadline.
