WOBURN, MA-Gaining a more visible presence but smaller floor space, a furniture design and manufacturing firm will move out of its 55,000 sf, three-story Somerville, MA building and into 21,000 sf here. Charles Webb Inc. will move from 51 McGrath Highway in Somerville to its new location at 470 Wildwood Ave. in September, bringing the 62,000 sf, single story industrial building to full occupancy.
"They'll be moving into smaller but more useful space," Paul R. Delaney, with Burgess Properties, tells GlobeSt.com of the class A warehouse building that will give the furniture maker a single floor of showroom and warehouse space. At the firm's previous location, a reconverted mill building, the company was spread over three floors, he notes. Terms of the lease were not disclosed. The building also is home to two smaller firms.
Delaney negotiated the lease arrangement for the tenant. The building's owner, 470 Wildwood Trust, was represented by Peter Carbone, of Carbone Commercial Real Estate Inc.
