Carl Weisbrod, the new president of building owner Trinity Real Estate says the deal "speaks directly to the increasing draw and uniqueness of the Hudson Square neighborhood." John Smallwood, director of Real Estate for TSI, adds that the firm had been "prospecting in the Hudson Square neighborhood for years."
John Epifanio, development manager for TSI handled the lease negotiations for NYSC Thomas Lynch of Trinity acted on behalf of the ownership. Trinity, which dates back to 1705, currently has more than six million sf under ownership. Weisbrod left the Downtown Alliance last month to manage Trinity's real estate division.
