Varco International Inc. let go of 6000 E. Berry St. in East Fort Worth to an owner/user and neighbor, KBW Investments LP, led by Don Valk of Dallas, who specializes in mini-storage development. Ryan Matthews, Todd Burnette and George Curry, all with the Staubach Co.'s Fort Worth office, represented the seller while the buy side had Walter Floyd and Ryan Wood with locally based NAI Stoneleigh Huff Brous McDowell handling talks for the buy side.

Curry says the building, positioned on six acres, was the former office and service center for Hydra-Rig Inc., which moved last year to 1020 Everman Parkway on the south side of town. He tells GlobeSt.com that talks brought "very close" to the $18 per sf ask for the 31-year-old building along Berry Street.
