"Renewing this lease is a win-win for both parties," Robert McGuire, with CB Richard Ellis/Whittier Partners, tells GlobeSt.com. Built in 1847, 12 Clock Tower Place is part of a 13-building, multi-tenant office park located 20 miles from Boston that was originally built as a wool mill. It was converted in 1957 to the world headquarters of Digital Equipment Corp.
Today, the office park has been renovated with the addition of a full-service cafeteria, cappuccino bar and gym and is home to more than 90 tenants, including Internet job search giant Monster.com, Lucent Technologies, Motorola and America Online. McGuire, along with Chris Tosti, Robert Walles and Matthew Flaherty, all of CB Richard Ellis/Whittier Partners, represented the owner. The tenant was assisted in the transaction by Davis Ross of Cresa Partners.
