Plantation Industrial West and H&H Warehousing Inc. acquired the 44,931-sf Pillbox property at 12200 Taft St. from Pembroke Pines Associates LLC. The seller is an affiliate of New York City-based Hidrock Realty. William R. Strauss, VP of the Boca Raton office of CB Richard Ellis, tells GlobeSt.com the center was completed in 1984 and was 80% leased at the time of the sale. Strauss and Richard Tarquinio and David J. Donnellan, both first VPs in that CBRE office, represented the seller and were the sole brokers in the transaction.
Donnellan and Strauss were also the sole brokers in the sale of the Lauderdale property, a 20,078-sf center at 1450 State Rd. Seven. It was built in 1988 and was 100% occupied at the time of the sale, according to Strauss. The seller is identified as Lauderhill Plaza LLC and the buyer as Lauderhill Plaza TMTL LLC.
