The custom closet franchise, owned by local businessman Bryan Greenup, will double in size with the signing of the long-term pact for 4125 Billy Mitchell Dr., Nathan Denton with Dallas-based Henry S. Miller Commercial tells GlobeSt.com. The firm has been operating out of 4301 Lindberg St.
Denton says Closets by Design's franchisee got shell space that's being built out with 3,000 sf of showroom and office space. "The economics and the way this building laid out worked for them," he says. The space was marketed at a negotiable rate based on the extent of the tenant improvements, he adds. Stream Realty Partners in Dallas has the warehouse space listed for $5 per sf to $6 per sf.
Stream's Chris Jackson and Forshey Hoobler represented the local building owner, Jackson-Shaw Co., which recently snagged another new tenant for the balance of the 31,981-sf duplex. Denton and Mark Hull, also with Henry S. Miller, were the tenant's reps.
