"They saw it as an opportunity to, not only do their expansion, but to provide their employees with an unusual environment," Debra Stevens, with GVA Thompson Doyle Hennessey & Stevens tells GlobeSt.com. Stevens, who represented the tenant, declined to release the lease terms.

Stevens says the company, which makes eye-wetting solution and other healthcare products, recently moved from smaller space at 12 Alfred St. in Woburn to the first floor of the two-story, 25,000-sf, fully leased building, which is also home to Tocci Construction, a firm owned by the property's owner, John Tocci. He restored the building about five years ago using architect Tom Trykowski, of the Boston-based architectural firm STA. The building is the former site of the Guastavino Tile Co. which produced tile that graces more than 1,000 historical American architectural landmarks.
