"The high visibility signage was the reason they selected the site," Grubb & Ellis executive vice president John Kerrigan, who represented landlord TAMA Limited Partnership, tells GlobeSt.com. Terms of the three-year lease were not made public.
"To get signage on Route 128 you have to be a big user," Anne Flanagan, senior account manager with Grubb & Ellis, who represented the owner, adds. "For a user of 7,480 sf to find such phenomenal signage is very, very difficult."
The building, once occupied until about three years ago by a high tech firm, is about one third full, leaving space for at least two more small to mid-sized users, says Kerrigan. Renovated in 1993, the first class office building is located at the Winter Street exit off Route 128. In addition to Kerrigan and Flanagan, the owner was also represented by Mark Coelho, with Grubb & Ellis. Tom Aitken, vice president at NAI Hunneman Commercial represented Circle Lending.
