Cushman & Wakefield's Robert A. B. Baraf, Mark Mandell and Phil Amarante represented HNA. "HNA's offices in Chelsea fulfilled all of the company's needs and growth requirements," says Mandell, a Cushman senior director. "It's a perfect fit." The owner was repped by Jeff Angel of Barclay's Real Estate.
HNA is a subsidiary of French publisher La Martiniere Group. It publishes and distributes approximately 250 titles a year and has more than 1,500 titles in print. Other tenants at the eight-story 115 W. 18th St. include Donovan Data Systems, Herbert Construction, Henry Holt Publishing and US Media. Specifics of the lease arrangement were not released, but space in the site is advertised for $30 per sf.
