Christopher Curley, vice president of GVA Thompson Doyle Hennessey & Stevens tells GlobeSt.com that Commonwealth Surgical chose the building because of its central location near some of the area's major hospitals. The firm was formerly located in about 5,000 sf of office space in Melrose, MA.

"It worked well for them," Curley says of the relocation move. Terms of that lease were not made public. The 50,648-sf, three-story building, which sits a short distance from Route 93 just 10 miles north of Boston, is about 88% occupied by several medical and general office users, including Tremont Credit Union and Fitzemeyer & Tocci Associates Inc. Curley represented the building's owner, Everest Partners of New York City, while the tenant was assisted by Jonathan Blacker of Bostonia Realty.
