The building is at 5235 East Hunter St. on a seven-acre parcel. It is occupied by Pretium Packaging, a manufacturer of plastic containers. Jim Oliver, Principal of Lee & Associates represented the seller, Safstrom Family Trust.

The Hunter Street property was one of two industrial facilities to sell in Orange County recently, the other being a 51,192-sf property at 1101 South Acacia Ave. that sold for $4.4 million, according to Joe Miller of Voit Commercial Brokerage's Anaheim Metro office, who represented the buyer. The new owner will occupy half of the building and a second company, PlastiColor Molded Products Inc. will lease the other half of the property. PlastiColor distributes a variety of automobile accessories.

One notable feature of this transaction is that Voit identified and secured a tenant for half of the property before committing the client to the acquisition, explained Miller.

Miller represented the buyer, Dash Properties. Clyde Stauff of Colliers Seeley's Anaheim office represented the seller, O'Daw Partners LP. Johnny Eubanks represented the tenant, PlastiColor Molded Products Inc.
