Executive Shifts Signal Expansion for Opus and Rendina

Matthews headed his own real estate firm in Atlanta for the past 12 years and, prior to that, was SVP and portfolio manager for Boston-based TCW Realty Advisors. Joe Rauenhorst, president of Opus South, says Matthews is responsible for expanding the company's development activities throughout Southeast Florida. Specific plans, Rauenhorst says, call for diversifying activities here "by seeking out retail, office and industrial deals in addition to condo developments and senior living projects."

Mock has more than 20 years of experience in real estate construction and management. He joined Rendina in January 2000 and is responsible for the development and completion of its growing number of medical office buildings in Central and South Florida. At the same time, Rendina adds Katherine A. Lavelle to its new business development efforts, where she is responsible for further expanding the portfolio of projects and for corporate marketing.
