SUNRISE, FL-Local investors EBE Enterprises Inc. sell the former Sun Sentinel distribution facility at 5555 Nob Hill Road for almost $3.6 million, or about $109 per sf. The buyer is BMC Realty Inc., a subsidiary of San Francisco-based Building Materials Holding Corp.BMHC is among the nation's largest suppliers of building materials and construction services to the homebuilding industry. It will locate WBC Construction, a South Florida buildings materials supplier, which it recently acquired, in this facility.The property aggregates 32,500 sf, including 9,500 sf of office space. It was built for the Sun Sentinel in 1995. Earlier this year, the newspaper vacated this building for a new, larger one nearby, Harry E. Wardell of Miami-based Lincoln Property Co. tells GlobeSt.com.Wardell and Steven J. Medwin of Lincoln represented the buyer in the transaction. Ed Smoker of Fort Lauderdale-based E J Smoker and Associates represented the sellers.
