SupplyScape, a supplier of software and expertise to the pharmaceutical industry, signed on to take 10,850 sf of space at 500 Unicorn Park under a four-and-a-half year sublease. The move added 7,000 sf to its offices. The firm, which was previously located in 3,800 sf at 201 Broadway in Cambridge, MA, sublet that space to Quantia Communications for the remainder of its one-year obligation.
"It worked out to be a win-win situation for all the parties," Ryan Weber, with NAI Hunneman Commercial in Boston, tells GlobeSt.com. Weber says SupplyScape shopped the market in Boston's inner suburbs before settling on the site, one of six buildings in the 600,000-sf master planned office park.
"They selected the building because it was an attractive sublease deal and it was convenient for a majority of their employees," says Weber, who represented SupplyScape. Mark Carangelo from Equitable Real Estate represented the sub-landlord, nCipher in that transaction. Chuck Kavoogian, with NAI Hunneman Commercial, represented Quantia.
