WESTFORD, MA-Two long-term retail leases have filled 2,600 sf at Westford Valley Marketplace. They bring occupancy at the 25-year-old plaza up to 94%.
Starbucks and Cingular Wireless join a roster of other national tenants at the 142,138-sf center, which is located at 160 Littleton Rd. off Interstate 495. Cynthia Oatis, a leasing associate with Finard & Co., tells GlobeSt.com both will "enhance the value of the center and offer added convenience to the center's customers."
Anchored by Market Basket and Jo-Ann Fabric, the new tenants join Walgreens, Burger King, CVS, Blockbuster, Radio Shack, CardSmart, Payless ShoeSource and Olympia Sports. Oatis, acting in behalf of the undisclosed pension fund which owns the property, helped negotiate both the 1,500-sf Starbucks lease and the 1,100-sf Cingular deal. She worked with colleague Don Mace, the brokerage firm's vice president and director of leasing. Negotiating on behalf of Starbucks was Adam Conviser with the Highland Property Group, while Dan Rabazzi with American Retail of Boston assisted Cingular Wireless.
