The PTM Group will move into a duplex at 1000 S. Main St. in Mansfield in sync with a lease expiration at 805 W. North Carrier Parkway in Grand Prairie, according to Don Davis with TIG Real Estate Services Inc. in Carrollton. He tells GlobeSt.com that PTM Group was in talks for other spaces in the neighborhood, but lost the deal so the heat to sign was turned up for the 20,000-sf duplex, owned by a local private investor. "They wanted to jump on it because they were afraid that with the market turnaround that they would lose out on it too," he explains.
Davis says PTM Group's one-year search included a build-to-suit option. But, he adds, the cost of construction and land nipped that plan.
Blake Martenson with Peyco Southwest Realty Inc. in Arlington represented the owner of the now fully leased property. The building's space was marketed at $3.60 per sf net.
