MetroLacrosse and Boston Teamworks signed on to take the space in a five-story building at 150 Mount Vernon St. near the Bayside Expo Center. The building's location near an MBTA station and the Southeast Expressway made it a central site for both employees and community members, Christopher McMahon, director of GVA Thompson Doyle Hennessey & Stevens's Nonprofit Practice Group, tells GlobeSt.com.

"It's a great location for them," McMahon says. "It's in the community they serve and it's surrounded by fields the group can use for events."

Formerly located in Charlestown, the group moved to its new location several weeks ago. Terms of the lease were not disclosed. The 145,000-sf building is about 75% leased to tenants that include the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles.

McMahon handled the lease negotiations for the tenant while Scott Ployer, director of operations for Corcoran Jennison, owners of the building, represented the interests of the landlord.
