The sales office moved to 8556 Katy Freeway after signing a deal with a three- to five-year term because its more centralized to clients and vendors, says, Mark Wood, senior vice president in Houston for the Dallas-based Henry S. Miller Commercial. "Prior to this move, they were in West Houston in a smaller building," says the tenant rep.
Wood tells GlobeSt.com that the negotiated price was less than the $15.50 per sf to $16 per sf annual rate per sf that's being quoted by the local limited partnership owner. "There were very minor improvements made to the space," Wood says. "The landlord had just renovated it and it was in mint condition."
The two-building office complex, developed in 1977, totals 32,152 sf, but occupancy wasn't available by publication time. Jones Lang LaSalle Inc.'s Houston office represents the building owner of record, West Memorial Office Park LP.
