Located near the intersections of Interstate 75 and US Highway 20, the new property will include recently signed tenants such as PetsMart, which took 20,339 sf of space. Negotiations are currently underway for a tenant who will take on 40,000 sf of space, leaving 6,400 sf of in-line retail space available.

Date of completion for the new center was not available at press time. When completed, Rossford Pointe will be neighbor to the 354,145-sf Crossroads Centre, which was developed and built by Ramco-Gershenson in 2001 and is close to being at 100% occupancy.

Tenants in Crossroads Centre include Home Depot, which takes up 116,000 sf, as well as Target, Giant Eagle, Linens 'n Things and Michaels Stores. Out-parcel tenants include Belle Tire, Pier 1, Pet Supplies Plus, Chili's and Mattress Firm. Sources note that the fast pace of residential have spelled the success of both Crossroads Centre, and potential success for Rossford Pointe.

In other news, the company has also signed a lease with TJ Maxx for a 30,545-sf addition to its Jackson Crossing shopping center in Jackson, MI. TJ Maxx will replace, in part, a number of smaller retailers and represents the sixth expansion of the center to include a national anchor tenant. Additional anchors at the center include Kohl's, Target, Best Buy and Bed Bath & Beyond.
