Nunnenmacher will also manage the property's budget and serve as a link between the individual owners and the board/developer. Nunnenmacher didn't travel far for his new post. He most recently served as assistant general manager at the Austria Haus in Vail, which contains 18 fractional condominiums and 25 hotel rooms. The Sonnenalp Resort manages both Austria Haus and One Willow Bridge Road.
Nunnenmacher will report directly to Sonnenalp Resort owner Johannes Faessler. Faessler notes that Nunnenmacher has been a "valuable asset to the Austria Haus," and residents at the new project will benefit from his experience in Vail.
The 22-unit Willow Bridge currently is under construction with an opening scheduled for early next year. One Willow Bridge is being developed by Robert M. McNichols. McNichols says that Nunnenmacher has a "fine reputation," and brings a "European-style of service," to his project. Nunnenmacher comes from Klagenfurt, Austria, but moved to the US after owning and operating a restaurant in Austria.
