The North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors will pick its Stemmons Award winner Nov. 11 at a black-tie dinner at the Dallas Museum of Art at 1717 N. Harwood St. This year's ballot holds Susan Arledge of Arledge Partners, Ka Cotter, vice chairman of the Staubach Co., and Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc. senior director Bill McClung and executive director Mike Wyatt.
The Real Estate Council will hold its gala Nov. 19 at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine. This year's "Dreamers, Doers and Unsung Heroes" will honor D. Jorge Urbina, Interfaith Ministries of Denton Inc.; Rosemary Perlmeter, one of the founders of LIFT Education; Michelle Miller, founder and executive director of Cancer Monument Inc.; and Gary Randle, a former Fort Worth policeman who founded HOPE Farm. The 2005 president's award will be presented to Ann Lott, president and CEO for the Dallas Housing Authority.
