"The client wanted something at streetscape and this offered a second floor option with beautiful windows overlooking High and Congress streets," Lisa DonFrancesco, with Saint James Real Estate Advisors, tells GlobeSt.com. Built in 1924 and fully renovated in 1983, the building, which is 80% occupied by tenants that include Hanover Insurance and John Robert Powers National, offers on-site security and an impressive, wood paneled lobby that was recently refurbished several years ago.
Terms of the lease were not disclosed but DonFranceso says that the 11-story boutique mid-rise generally rents in the mid-$20 per sf net range. DonFrancesco handled the transaction for the tenant, while Kevin Kennedy, with CB Richard Ellis-Whittier Partners, represented the owner.
