The move will take Amtech Lighting from the Arlington side of the Great Southwest Industrial District to Grand Prairie's 1302 Avenue R. Michael Stanzel with the Robert Lynn Co. in Dallas tells GlobeSt.com that the site search took six months because the publicly traded, facilities contractor distributor was focused on finding a large fenced yard to accommodate the operation. With the site locked in, the San Francisco-based Amtech has placed its 12,000-sf building at 1300 E. Corporate Dr. on the market.
Corbin Crews with CB Richard Ellis Inc. had the Avenue R building listed at $3.50 per sf for owner of record, Portfolio L LP of Denver. The fully air-conditioned building is undergoing minimal make-ready upgrades for Amtech's move-in, according to Stanzel.
