Offaset founders Gary Dickerson, Debbie Munson and Hugo Acevedo inked a five-year lease for 4515 McEwen Rd. in a corridor that's become increasingly popular with furniture dealers, Lee Wagner with Grubb & Ellis Co. tells GlobeSt.com. "The players are old, but the company is new," he says, pointing out it will be one of the few office-only furniture wholesalers in the corridor. It's also an appointment-only operation.

Wagner says the search got under way at the beginning of the year. In mid-July, the Offaset team began using temporary space in a nearby building at 4674 Nall Rd., but that owner needed to take back the room, he explains.

Adam Curran and Mark Miller with the Robert Lynn Co. in Dallas represented the building owner, Jackalam Properties Ltd. of Carrollton, which has the 50,000-sf holding on the market for $2.75 million or available for lease at $3 per sf net, according to a local database.
