The transaction was arranged by Lew Finkelstein of the Goldstein Group, a Glen Rock, NJ-based retail brokerage firm, who represented both sides. The sale price was not released. "This sale successfully met the real estate needs of both the buyer and the seller," says Chuck Lanyard, a principal and the director of brokerage services for Goldstein.
The six-acre parcel has more than 450 feet of frontage along Paterson-Hamburg Turnpike, and is located adjacent to a 160-unit townhouse community, according to Lanyard. Neighboring retailers include Macy's, CVS, Wendy's, Starbucks, Burger King, Marshalls, Stop & Shop and Radio Shack.
