LIVINGSTON, NJ-Hayden Tiger, First Industrial Realty's regional director for New Jersey, has departed the REIT and rejoined long-time partner Jeff Punia. Tiger joined First Industrial in 1997 when the duo sold two million sf of industrial property to the Chicago-based REIT, marking its major entry into the tri-state market. Punia stayed behind to manage the Punia Co.'s office and retail portfolio.

"We are consolidating our strengths and abilities of development, leasing and re-leasing our properties," says Punia, whose company's projects include the 157-acre Worlds Fair Corporate Center in Somerset, the 150-acre Princeton South Business Center in Lawrenceville and the Vreeland Road Business Center in Florham Park.

"Through broker relationships created during the past 20 years, we will collectively continue to provide our principals a pipeline of building and a range of services, including asset acquisition, property realignment analysis, due diligence, leasing and property management," Tiger says. The Punia Co. also recently moved its headquarters to an 11,000-sf space at 514 South Livingston Ave. here.
