Steve Stone, president of Grubb & Ellis' Corporate Services Group, says Taylor will be an "extremely valuable addition," to the office. Stone says his "corporate real estate experience" and his commitment to client services is exactly what Grubb & Ellis is looking for as it expands its corporate services platform.

Taylor joins Grubb & Ellis from Jones Lang LaSalle were he spent more than five years as senior vice president of corporate solutions. In this role, he managed a team of professionals servicing corporate clients in the Rocky Mountain region and executed in excess of 1.5 million sf of lease transactions. His clients included Xerox Corp., the St. Paul Travelers Cos., Sun Microsystems Inc., Sprint Nextel Corp., Cisco Systems Inc. and General Motors Corp.

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Taylor spent nearly seven years at SAIA Burgess, a global supplier of electronics based in Switzerland, in various positions. During his tenure, he became the youngest member of senior management in the company's history.

Taylor holds bachelor's degree with honors from the University of Arizona and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is an active member of CoreNet and was co-principal author of the CoreNet Global research report "Corporate Real Estate 2010: The Strategic Role of Place." He also is on the Development Council of the Downtown Denver Partnership.
