The firm's new location, set along the Boston Harborwalk, is just one block from its old, similarly sized offices. "We like being near South Boston and we wanted to stay in the area," Andrew Deschenes, a project manager with Skanska, tells GlobeSt.com. The interior space is being redesigned by the architectural firm of Jung Brannen, a long-time associate, to give the company's offices its own unique feel.
Terms of the lease, which were negotiated for the tenant by William Collins with Spaulding & Sly Colliers, were not disclosed. The transaction was handled for owner Boston HSR South Boston LLC by Andrew Hoar, Christopher Cuddy and William Crean Jr., all with CB Richard Ellis/New England.
