The building will serve as the new headquarters for Apani, which was represented by Mitch Zehner, Louis Tomaselli and John Collins of Voit Commercial Brokerage. The building owner, VEF III Funding, was represented by Mark Friend of CB Richard Ellis.

In a Pomona transaction, real estate appraisal and consulting firm PCV/Murcor bought a newly constructed 25,000-sf office building at 740 Corporate Center Dr. in the University Corporate Center Park from Wilkins O'Dell LLC for $4 million. The buyer was represented by Natalie Bazarevitsch and Lynn Knox of CB Richard Ellis. The seller was represented by Rick Sheckter and Jim Wynne of Grubb & Ellis.

PCV/Murcor is moving to the new space from its current headquarters at 3191 Temple Ave. in Pomona. With the move and expanded space, the company plans to add between 50 and 75 jobs.

In Anaheim office lease, Brian Childs of NAI Capital reports that Mortgage Information Services Inc. signed a $2.9-million lease for 23,455 sf of office space at 2150 Towne Centre Place, with Childs representing the tenant. The building is owned by Rreef LLC, which was represented by Andy White and Mark Friend of CB Richard Ellis.

In a Palm Springs transaction, Los Angeles-based GH Real Estate & HQ Development paid $2.3 million for the 12,800-sf Merrill Lynch Building at 415 S. Palm Canyon Dr., near Highway 111 and Interstate 10. The building was sold by nine individual sellers based in several states, with Char Sharp-Pfeifer of Sperry Van Ness in Palm Springs representing the sellers as well as the buyer. Built in 1970, the property is 100% leased to Merrill Lynch, which has been a tenant since 1994.
