The Quantico Commercial site is located off Interstate 95 and Route 1 and, upon completion, will feature 10 to 12 structures. Silver's Metro Washington, DC GSA/Government Support Leasing office is currently marketing space for a four-story, 140,000-sf spec office building on the campus for $25 per sf. That structure is scheduled for delivery next year.
Silver is also reportedly in talks with a leading defense contractor that is interested in a 220,000-sf build-to-suit on the property. Due to the Defense Department's Base Realignment and Closure endeavor, about 3,000 military workers will relocate to the area.
