"My background is in financial analysis," McGrath tells GlobeSt.com. "Right out of college, I started with what was then called Price Water House. Then I joined Studley in Philadelphia. I wanted to move to Denver for personal reasons, otherwise I probably wouldn't have left Studley. When I came to Denver there was no Studley office, or I would have joined them. So for me, this a bit of a homecoming."

He tells GlobeSt.com that he probably wouldn't have left Staubach for any other company and position. "This is an opportunity to be an owner and to be a leader," McGrath tells GlobeSt.com. "That was important in my career. Rob and I have been competitors and adversaries for the past 10 years. I always paid attention when Rob was going after a deal. He was one of my biggest competitors."

Link tells GlobeSt.com that several times he and McGrath went after the same client. "Sometimes he won and sometimes I won," Link tells GlobeSt.com. "I think we developed a mutual respect for each other. I really look forward to working with him. It's great to have him on board."

McGrath's past clients have included the law firm of Holland and Hart, Comcast, and Time Warner Cable, to name just a few. "I tend to do 15 or 20 transactions a year," McGrath tells GlobeSt.com. "They tend to be larger ones."
