HOPKINTON, MA-ATK Mission Research will more than double in size when the advanced weapons and space systems company moves down the street from its present location. The company inked a deal for 12,299 sf of flex space at 63-65 South St. here.
David Ross with Cresa Partners Boston tells GlobeSt.com the company, which has been in the area for about 20 years, was operating in approximately 5,000 sf at 116 South St. but needed more space to accommodate growth. Terms of the seven-year lease were not disclosed but Ross says space in the 60,000-sf building rents in for between $8 and $9 triple net.
The firm, which conducts research and testing on advanced weapons and space systems, will join several other tenants including the Internal Revenue Service and design firm Clark, Richardson & Biskup. Ross represented the tenant, while Mark Fitzgerald handled the negotiations for owner Rosewood Development.
