The project involves the renovation of room 102 and the associated storage area to accommodate all of the numismatic operations currently located in several spaces throughout the mint facility. These renovations include refinishing of the floor, walls, windows, and ceiling. The coins will remain in the building during the entire construction period. The project is valued at $316,000 and will be completed in February. The architect is Dauer Haswell Architecture Group of Denver.

The 20-year-old White Construction Group is based in Castle Rock. The company provides pre-construction, construction management, general construction and post-construction services for public and private clients along the Front Range, northern and northeastern Colorado. To date, the company has completed more than $350 million in construction projects. The company has satellite offices in two small Colorado cities, Castle Rock and Brush.
