The relocation will be the third for the Pohly Co. in the last few years, John Hennessey, a principal with GVA Thompson Doyle Hennessey & Stevens, tells GlobeSt.com. "They've been expanding rapidly and outgrowing their offices in the last few years." Hennessey previously represented the firm in the deal for its present 9,000-sf offices at 27 Melcher St. Rob Seaman with Rose Associates represented the ownership.

Terms of the five-year lease were not disclosed, but Hennessey says the deal was "an aggressive one" by the owner, an entity of Plymouth Rock Insurance Co. The firm will join a number of other companies, including ExecuTrain and CompuWorks, both software-training firms, when it moves into the top floor of the 95% occupied, five-story building just two blocks from South Station.
