At Cushman & Wakefield, Kennedy was portfolio manager overseeing one million sf of full-service class A office and suburban industrial properties in the Tampa Bay region. She is president-elect of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW)-Tampa Bay Inc. "I left C&W because I was presented with the opportunity to make a positive and logical career change which will allow me to utilize my strengths," Kennedy tells GlobeSt.com.

Hyde says leaving C&W also was "a difficult decision but when presented with a chance to pursue my dream job, to continue working with my boss of the past nine years and to be able to work with Michael Winters again, it was an opportunity I could not pass up."

Winters, senior director of GVA Advantis' Tampa office, calls Kennedy and Hyde "very positive and energetic professionals and I couldn't be more pleased to reunite with two former colleagues."

Steve Sumell, asset services director for Cushman & Wakefield's Florida region, couldn't be reached by GlobeSt.com's publication deadline to learn whether his firm had found replacements for Kennedy and Hyde.

Kennedy started her professional real estate career in June 1995 with the Tampa office of Crocker Realty Trust, formerly based in Boca Raton. Hyde joined Crocker in October 1996.
