CB Richard Ellis officials state that the university chose 535 Connecticut Ave. for its Fairfield County campus because the building offers it ideal signage, high visibility and an accessible location near Interstate 95. It expects to open the campus in early 2006.
Other new tenants signing lease deals at 535 Connecticut Ave. include the Visiting Nurses Association, which has already moved to 5,500 sf of space on the first floor of the building from another Norwalk location. In addition, Questionmark, a producer of testing and assessment computer software, will relocate from Stamford to 2,500 sf on the first floor.
Paul Jacobs, Colin Reilly and Robert Caruso of CB Richard Ellis' Stamford office represented Matan Properties, the owner of the property. WFL Real Estate represented Questionmark in its lease, CB Richard Ellis' Barbara Segalini-Stilley and Ray Thomas represented the Visiting Nurses Association and Trammell Crow worked on behalf of the University of Phoenix.
The building is approximately 50% occupied. Current tenants at the property include AG Edwards, DHL, American Express Financial Services and Quelsys.
