EDDYSTONE, PA-Philadelphia-based Dependable Distribution Services leases 105,000 sf of warehouse and distribution space in the 475,000-sf Eddystone Industrial Center. The lease is for a five-year term and the aggregate value is in excess of $2.4 million, according to Steve Italiano, SVP of CB Richard Ellis' industrial property services group.
Italiano and Pat Green, SVP in the same CBRE office in Wayne, represented Dependable and the owner, the Gateside Group LP. The Dependable Distribution space adjoins the 75,000-sf space leased by Food Processing International this April, says Italiano, who also negotiated that transaction.
FPI uses its space to store and process cocoa beans into finished chocolate for the food and candy industries. Dependable will use a portion of its space to warehouse cocoa beans for FPI. Eddystone, which was refurbished in 2000, has immediate access to Rte. 291 and is within two minutes of I 95.
