Object Management Group, a nonprofit consortium that produces and maintains computer industry specifications for interoperable enterprise applications, will move from 250 First Ave. in February. The space is currently leased to Parametric Technology Corp., David Boyle with Trammell Crow Co.'s Boston office tells GlobeSt.com.
Boyle says Object Management selected the building because of it quality and its competitive lease rates and location. Terms of the lease were not disclosed but he says office space in the area rents in the low $20-per-sf range.
The four-year-old class A office building, owned by Boston Properties, was designed by Tsoi Kobus & Associates of Cambridge. Located adjacent to Route 128 on the banks of Cutler Lake, the property features a 10,000-sf cafeteria with indoor and outdoor seating and walking trails. Craig Johnston, with RW Holmes, of Natick, represented Object Management. Boyle, along with colleague John Boyle handled the transaction for sublandlord Parametric.
