Peter Bean, with GVA Thompson Doyle Hennessey & Stevens, tells GlobeSt.com that the group had a previous location at 654 Beacon St. "Their previous building could not accommodate expansion." He notes that the Samaritans gained almost 1,500 sf in the move. "They also needed something close to transportation for their volunteers and an inviting place to work due to the serious nature of their business."
The group joins a tenant roster that includes the law firms of Crowe and Mulvey, Lowell Blake and Associates, Shaevel and Krems and the public relations group PR Newswire Association. Terms of the lease were not disclosed. Bean along with Christopher McMahon, also with GVA Thompson Doyle Hennessey & Stevens, handled the negotiations for the Samaritans while the owner, the Flatley Co., was self-represented by William Bush and Sabrina Tarantino.
