GRAND PRAIRIE, TX-One year after signing a lease on 8,160 sf at at 1320 Post and Paddock Rd, upstart office interior designer and furniture supplier Metro Office Interiors has decided to stay in the building.The company, which was just starting out when it moved into the property in the Post and Paddock Service Center near 113th St. in Grand Prairie, renewed its lease on the space for the long term at what broker Michael Spain, with the Bradford Companies, tells GlobeSt.com "was a very competitive rate.""They were a new company last year and were not real sure how the company was going to grow or how their needs were going to change," says Spain. "This year, their business is rockin' and rollin' and they decided to lock in at a very competitive rate." Terms of that lease were not disclosed.The firm, which designs and sells office interiors, joins several other firms, including Source One, Chapparell Technologies, and the Bradford Companies, in the building, which is part of a six building office park.Spain handled the lease negotiations for the tenant while Jim Ferris with the Bradford Companies handled the transaction for landlord P&P Eagle Industrial LP.
