Tom Dodge, previously a vice president with Trammell Crow Co., will begin Monday with Stream. Dodge, who will team with Stream associate John Hendricks, has spent nearly three years working the GSW submarket for TCC and six years with the firm, making the job change after racking up $25 million in 2005 revenue with GSW transactions.
"When we started the industrial division two years ago, our goal was to have every major submarket covered in Dallas," says Chris Jackson, managing director and partner for the locally based Oncor International affiliate. Since he started the division, Jackson has been doing the dealmaking in the Great Southwest. With Dodge on board, Jackson's territory will be Northwest Dallas and the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport submarkets. Kyle Valentine heads up the Northeast Dallas team for the nine-broker industrial division.
"I enjoyed every minute at Crow. It was a tough decision," Dodge tells GlobeSt.com. "Stream has a platform similar to Crow. The comfort level was there." He says the motivation to move is the ability to do a "broader range of transactions, larger territory and a slightly different role with business development and tenant representation. It offered me something to expand my real estate experience."
TCC's Toby Rogers has transitioned into Dodge's old role, overseeing the GSW office. Rogers previously handled industrial transactions in the Valwood area.
