Cats-Are-In, a specialty pet supply company, will move this month from 1711 W. Rose Garden Lane. in Phoenix to the 2005 W. Parkside Lane building. The company's parent, Phoenix Land Holdings, was the buyer of record.
Marc Hertzberg with Phoenix-based Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial LLC, tells GlobeSt.com that the Washington state buyer selected the property, located between 19th Avenue and Deer Valley Road, because it offered a large yard for outside storage and 22-foot-high dock space along with light manufacturing zoning for the its Cats-Are-In operation. The one-year-old office/warehouse, designed and built by the Benoist Co. of Phoenix, will serve as Cats-Are-In's new headquarters.
Hertzberg and Steve Mardian with Grubb & Ellis|BRE Commercial's industrial group represented the seller, Parkside Investors. Dave and Nancy Dixon with Coldwell Banker in Phoenix handled the negotiations for the buyer.
