The township has hired the Princeton-based firm KSS Architects to design the new building, which will house municipal offices, a council chamber, a community room and administrative offices for the police department. Partner Edmund P. Klimek, project manager Stephen A. Doyle and architect Kristen E. Mattioni are handling the assignment for KSS.

According to Klimek, preliminary design plans call for the complex to be arranged around a forecourt and garden "to provide a public face of the facility." Offices in the two-story brick and stone building will be arranged with an open layout, and will radiate from a centralized lobby. "Our existing offices are operating beyond capacity and we are in serious need of a new facility," says Mayor Gene Feyl.
