The remaining space has been leased to two tenants, Ludwig & Seeley Inc. and Kaufman Insurance Agency. "We toured various properties before taking this one," says Chris Secontine of Signature Associates-Oncor International's Southfield office, who with colleague Garrett Keais, represented the buyer. "The prime attractions here were location, available space, the size and covered parking."
Secontine tells GlobeSt.com that the property is also in very good condition. "It's 20 years old and in excellent condition, except for the build-out they need on the space they're going to occupy," he adds.
The transaction represents a relocation for the buyer, which is selling its current space at 30333 Southfield Rd. in Southfield. R.W. Real Estate invests and manages in real estate through partnerships and joint ventures. "They end up buying and selling property in the normal course of business, primarily office property," Secontine adds. The seller, a local entity, was represented by the Farbman Group in Detroit.
