GLEN BURNIE, MD- Stanley Engineering Co. has acquired the office and warehouse property at 6721 Baymeadow Dr. in the 220-acre Baymeadow Industrial Park for approximately $3.3 million. WP Carey & Co. LLC sold the 45,000-sf structure.

Developed 29 years ago, 6721 Baymeadow Dr. is sited on a 3.4-acre parcel near the Baltimore Beltway in Anne Arundel County. As noted in county real estate records, together the building and land have a current assessed value of $2.1 million. Defense contractor Stanley, which manufactures custom precision components, currently houses its headquarters in a 20,000-sf space just across the Arundel Expressway to the east at 180 Penrod Court.

Colliers Pinkard's Michael A. Elardo, Michael J. Weinfeld and Peter A. Waldron brokered the sale on behalf of WP Carey. As per the brokers, Stanley's acquisition of the property will allow the company to accommodate new and impending growth.
