Bob Gibson, a long-time Williams' executive, will relocate from Tulsa to take the lead as district manager for the West 20 Business Park office at 6776 Corporate Parkway. Gibson will start out with a four-member team, but expand the head count to 10, possibly within a year, a Williams' spokeswoman tells GlobeSt.com.
Last year, Williams staked its first claim in Fort Worth Basin's Barnett Shale. It has a two-rig drilling program in place as the team searches to lease land primed for development. "Our goal is to be the operator of choice when it comes to natural gas development and gathering," Tony Silvestri, Williams' director of Midcontinent and Gulf Coast assets, says in a press release. Currently, Williams' Barnett Shale leases encompass acreage in Johnson and Denton counties.
Williams, represented by Dallas-based Staubach Co. broker David Walters, took down space with a two-acre storage yard in a two-building complex owned by Barip Ltd. of nearby Southlake. The 46,070-sf development delivered two years ago.
